As AVIVA‘s first store in Guangzhou, the Guangzhou Art Center store is located at No.88 Xinjiao Middle Road in Guangzhou's Haizhu District, the “South Gate” of Haizhu on Guangzhou's central axis, and adjacent to the Haizhu Wetland Park in a green and ecological place.

The original building was an old steel-frame factory, and the integration of the building into the city's space is Vera's best interpretation of “Harmony and Renewal”, in which one can feel the pursuit of emotions carried in higher dimensions such as light and shadow, aesthetics, etc. The building's spatial façade and block relationship are based on the concept of “Harmony and Renewal”.

The spatial elevation of the building continues to use interspersions and overlooks, between the two buildings and between the interior and exterior. On the basis of the beige granite columns, the ground is paved with black gravel, the outdoor grass plants are implanted indoors and bridges are constructed, the order is built in the swaying and flowing, and the space is divided by “glass light boxes” of different materials and sizes, and the haloed light balances the sense of transparency and the sense of weight in the space.

As the building is completed, the light and shadow float and the rhythm of rising and falling is felt. Indoors and outdoors are almost as one, and wherever the light reaches, it senses the symbiosis and fusion of nature and art.
