Contest Rules

In this contest, there will be two independent divisions: the "Mainland China Division" and the "Overseas International Division," with case solicitation and evaluation conducted separately for each.

The event will be divided into two phases: "Project Case Solicitation and Evaluation" and "Benchmark Case Promotion." The solicitation and evaluation phase will last 3 months, concluding at the end of the Hong Kong Autumn Lighting Fair in late October 2025. The promotion phase will last 6 months, ending by the 2026 Spring Festival.

The contest features many award slots, open to all representative spatial lighting projects that utilize COLORS products.

We will invite one leading lighting designer from Mainland China and another from an international location to serve as expert judges, who will take part in the evaluation and finalize the winning works.

Benchmark cases, along with design reviews, will be promoted through professional media and magazines to jointly showcase the case works, designers, service providers, and clients.

Value of Participation

1. Participate in case evaluation to win awards, honors and generous bonuses.

2. Receive professional comments from top international lighting designers and have the opportunity to be promoted through professional media advertising.

3. Obtain financial support for case material shooting and collection, with free production of tweets and video content.

4. Be included in COLORS's Global Case Selection, and receive promotional materials for publicity and display.

5. Join COLORS's High-Quality Service Provider Club to enhance mutual promotion and assistance.

Project Case Solicitation and Evaluation

In this phase, we will select outstanding projects from around the world that have already been implemented. There are no restrictions on country, region, spatial scenarios, or project types.

The Mainland China Division and the Overseas International Division will Solicitation and Evaluation separately, with the settings as follows:

Nature of the Contest:

This is a brand marketing activity aimed at fostering close collaboration between COLORS and our partners, showcasing project achievements, and facilitating sharing and exchange.

Participants:

All COLORS partners are eligible to submit projects.

Awards:

Gold Award (2 quotas)
Silver Award (5 quotas)
Bronze Award (10 quotas)
Merit Award (10 quotas)
Participation Award (Unlimited)

Note: The number of awards may be adjusted based on the quantity and quality of submissions.

Rewards:

Gold Award: 1,000 USD per winner
Silver Award: 800 USD per winner
Bronze Award: 500 USD per winner
Merit Award: 200 USD per winner
Participation Award: A set of exquisite gifts and brand promotional materials.

(Rewards are issued as vouchers, 100 USD per voucher, which can be used to offset order payments.)

Guidelines:

1. The lighting products used in the submitted projects must primarily be COLORS products, and the number of submissions is unlimited.
2. Ensure the accuracy and authenticity of the project information and submitted materials.
3. The winning projects can be used for official publicity of COLORS.
4. Vouchers are valid for six months, from November 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026.

Multiple vouchers can be used together, but they cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.

Submission Deadlines / Important Dates

Projects Submission Period: August 11, 2025 - October 10, 2025
Award Selection Period: October 11, 2025 - October 18, 2025
Prize distribution period: Hong Kong Autumn Lighting Fair in late October 2025
Promotion Period: Q4 2025

Evaluation Criteria:

The evaluation will be conducted by invited expert representatives and senior management from COLORS, Evaluation criteria that balance fairness, professionalism and encouragement of participation.

Evaluation Dimensions:

Design Effectiveness (Creativity, Professionalism and Aesthetics)
Project Impact (Project nature, quantity, regional influence)
Completeness of Materials (high-resolution images, complete documentation)

Submission Method:

1. Contact COLORS sales for submission.

Required Submission Materials:

a. Project submission form and description.

b. Design renderings, lighting layout, node diagrams.

c. High-resolution images (minimum 6 images, each at least 2MB)

d. Video materials.
