Project Contest 2022 finally comes to a close. This year, 41 impact projects and great stories. So impressive and inspiring ! !
So who win? After internal review & public voting, 9 projects stand out, to win 1 Gold Prize, 3 Silver Prizes and 5 Bronze Prizes. Now, it’s time to reveal the winners. Time for the stars of the contest.

Water and light are the 2 main elements in this project. The semi-circle light and its shadow on water together create an almost perfect round, fire-like lighting at nights. Suspended in the air, it blurs the horizon line, featured in great balance and integration. The perfect round reflects a pursuit of co-existence and harmony between human and nature. Visitors can communicate with the scene through this works, an innovative and interactive sightseeing experience indeed.

Centara Hotel is in a prime location, it’s connected to the Central Plaza mall, Robinsons, and Tops supermarket. COLORS’ D6140 LED strips, matched with profiles, were irregularly arranged on the facade, aesthetic and at the same time artistic.

How to use lights to create a luxury and elegant hotels vibes? Here’s an example. AS3535 series are bent to complex and ultimate radians to form unique styles. The led strip inside follows and perfectly fit with the curved profiles, lighting up without dark area.

Creating a positive and inspiring journey was at the forefront of the design brief right from the point of arrival through to the interiors and out into the play spaces. The interiors were to always have a connection back to nature staying in tune with the New Shoots’ ethos.

This project was in charge of the architec Gonzalo Mardones, one of the most important architects in Chile, and his idea was to higlight the concrete structure un a way that the light source would not be seeing.

The project used NMS1217 neon, which is IP67 protective, to outline the facade of the building. The colorful light makes the building more dreamlike and vibrant.

What if surface lights and 360° round neon are used together? This project well illustrates that COLORS’ lights go with, like everything. The round neon NNR25 serves as decorative element and main lights while LED strips outline design details and light up cabinets,. Both look fantastic and well-integrated.

How to make light be decorative and at the same time stay true to the interior design style? In this project, designer first used LLS2.0 series as a concise and productive option for main lighting, then used NMS1217 neon recessed on floor to highlight main areas. Profiles and led strips are recessed at corners to brighten up the narrow and dark areas.

The building has 5 floors, in which the front desk, auditorium, rest area and the whole office area used COLORS linear luminaires as main lighting. The lights support smart controls, making office area cater to personal needs and be easily controlled.
